The suspension of Khaleda bail till May 8

Online Blog: The High Court has upheld the stay on the bail granted to the BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia in the Appellate Division Zia Orphanage Trust case.
The four-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain on Monday ordered the state and the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to give leave-to-appeal (appeal appeal).
At the same time, on May 8, the ACC and the state parties have fixed the date for hearing on the appeal.
The hearing was concluded on Sunday against the bail of Khaleda Zia and the state-owned Leaving to Appeal (CP). At the same time, the hearing of appeals filed against Khaleda Zia for the suspension of the appeal division was over.
After the hearing of the four-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, on Monday, the order was fixed on Monday.
Earlier on March 14, the Appellate Division stayed the bail granted to the High Court till Sunday, Khaleda Zia was suspended. During this period, the state and the ACC asked to file a CP Accordingly, on Thursday, the ACC and the state filed a petition. Apart from this, after the order of March 14, Khaleda Zia's lawyer appealed to the petition seeking withdrawal of the suspension granted by the Appellate Division. Later, the chamber's judges on the same day fixed the date for hearing on the petition of the state and the ACC.
