Train collision in Feni collapsed 4

Online Blog: Four passengers of the covered van were killed in the train at Phennai. Two others were injured in the incident.

The incident took place in the city's Barahipur area around 4:30 am on Wednesday.

The identity of the casualties was not immediately known.

Feni railway police outpost confirmed the incident. Alim Uddin said, Chittagong-bound Torna-Nishita, who had left Dhaka at around 4:30 am, reached Feni's Barahipur area and pushed a covered van overturned over crossing. At the time the coverway fell beside the railway track and hit the train. Three people were killed and three others injured in the incident. One of the injured was killed in the Feni Sadar Hospital and the other two were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with primary treatment.
