The attacker's uncle-uncle detained

News Blog: Dr. Muhammad Zafar on Iqbal law enforcers arrested the attacker's uncle and uncle. Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Sylhet, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. They were arrested on Saturday night and Sunday morning today.

After the attack on Zafar Iqbal, the law enforcers conducted searches at the house of Sheikh Fazzur Rahman's Sylhet Shaikhpara house on Saturday midnight. They arrested his uncle Fazlur Rahman from there. A laptop was recovered at the time.

Jalalabad Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shafiqur Rahman confirmed the matter.

Meanwhile, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested Abul Kahhar, the uncle of Yazur Rahman, from the Jagdal village of Kolar Kampon union of Darya upazila of Sunamganj.

 RAB-9 Sunamganj commander Lieutenant Commander Faisal Ahmed said, Abul kahar is being interrogated with Sunamganj RAB camp.

Earlier, Zafar Iqbal, who was stabbed by miscreants, was admitted to Dhaka Combined Military Hospital (CMH). He was brought to Dhaka by air ambulance from Sylhet. Later he was admitted to CMH at 12:20 pm.
