The crowd of people gathered in the Suhrawardy Udyan

News Blog: The rally was started in the Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital to join the rally organized on the occasion of the historic March 7. Thousands of people are waiting for a long time to enter the park. Awami League activists are coming in the team.

Today, at 2pm on Wednesday, there was a crowd of people in the hilly area to start a public meeting.

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will chair the public meeting. Besides giving important messages to the activists, he will vote for the boat. Besides, the Prime Minister will also highlight the development activities of the government.

From the morning in the capital and surrounding areas and from outside Dhaka, leaders and activists entered the garden with a small procession. Many people are coming to the venue in the car with musical instruments. The banner-festoons are in everyone's hands. Many people wearing the same color t-shirt, the same color cap on their head. The garden area has turned into a 'Joy Bangla' slogan.

Meanwhile, massive security around Awami League rally has been strengthened. Law enforcement agencies are searching various places.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman delivered a speech in the Suhrawardy Udyan on 7 March 1971 and called for preparation of war.

The first day is celebrated as the historic speech of Bangabandhu in Bangladesh after the recognition of UNESCO as the memorial of the World Heritage.
