'Threat' pay-discrimination for international cricket: Shakib

Sports Blog: The annual meeting of the Maryland Cricket Club (MCC) was held on January 9 and 10 in Sydney, Australia. As the first cricketer of Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan got invited to this meeting. Shakib said the MCC committee has been talking about the uncertainty of Bangladesh cricket. The world's all-rounder said that they will lose interest in playing for the country if they do not reduce the wages and disparities of players in international cricket. Shakib also said that young cricketers of Bangladesh do not see Test cricket as their goal. Because there are more opportunities for T-20 cricket than in Tests.
Some of the former cricketers in the MCC committee include Ricky Ponting, Brendon McCullum, Kumar Sangakas and others. Ponting says English and Australian cricketers do not leave the national team and play IPL. Because they give satisfactory financial benefits to the players. Therefore, the majority of the year should be sure to get the best players in Test matches near England or Australia. This will increase the interest of representing their country. Pointing to Shakib's statement, Ponting said that for example, Shakib has talked about the problems and events that have been going on for a long time in Bangladesh's cricket. He also said that the ICC will control where the money goes (the amount of money generated from cricket in the world, its part). He knows that huge money money is going to the right place; But not how they should go to the players.
It is not just the test, but the importance of international cricket will be reduced to players of many countries. West Indies cricketers can be a good example. Ponting said, "We want to see where money should go; The ICC will be more involved in reaching those players. It should also be understood that domestic T-20 tournaments make it easier for players to not represent the country, by giving them better pay-allowances. Perhaps the biggest role in the IPL is affecting domestic tournaments in other countries. You can not blame the players for playing this type of tournament.
